Ronnie Lopez, and his wife Terry, a registered nurse, and their three children have lived in Pearland, Texas since 2000. Pastor Lopez has been a member of the Christian Reformed Church in the Philippines since 1972 and studied at the Christian Reformed Church’s Bible College and Seminary from 1984 to 1988. Pastor Lopez is currently a student at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Houston and is pursuing his Master’s of Divinity (M.Div) degree.

 

"After careful consideration and prayer the Lord has finally opened doors of opportunity for us to plant a Filipino-American Church in Pearland, Texas. In September 2016 we started a weekly home Bible study consisting of seven families as well as a midweek prayer meeting here in the city of Pearland. In January 2017 we launched public worship services. We are praying for God’s grace and leading as we begin our new church. Thank you for your partnership with us."

• Encourage every believer to engage in true worship of the Triune GOD in accordance to His Word.

• To fulfill the great commission mandated by our Lord JESUS CHRIST, reaching out to the Filipino-American community in Pearland and beyond, bringing them in to the saving knowledge of CHRIST and the right and intimate relationship with HIM.

• To affirm and teach every family the Biblical principles of its role and function as mandated by our Lord JESUS CHRIST, living the life of our calling.

• We envision the leading and planting of Filipino-American Churches across Houston and beyond.
