Beyond Sunday gatherings, we live out our faith in Communities. We model our life and ministry after the life of Jesus and the rhythms of the New Testament church.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:42-47)
Communities are the life-blood of the church. New people are welcomed into community. Strangers become friends. Prayers are lifted up for each other. Service and mission happen as the Spirit leads. Communities are simple, flexible, diverse in size and location, yet intentional in how they function.

Communities encourage and promote all three aspects of discipleship (UP / IN / OUT). Communities live out the (UP and IN) parts of discipleship together and encourage people to engage in missional living (OUT) as the Spirit leads. Individuals, families, groups, or the whole church can serve and witness in various ways (e.g. service teams, friendships, block parties, volunteering in the community, service projects, trips, etc.).
At New Life Church, believers are discipled in community so they can cultivate and sustain the character, skills, and spiritual depth needed to grow in grace and live on mission with Jesus.
At New Life Church, ministry to young people is an integral part of our church life. Our desire is to come along side parents to support and grow teenagers into firm Christian believers and leaders.
At New Life Church, we believe children are disciples of Christ and powerful witnesses of grace. We take great joy is raising our children in the Lord and feel the weight of this responsibility.
